Presidents' Leading Edge Award

April Knox

Awarded to an individual who helps raise the profile of NAPO and NAPO-LA, the Presidents’ Leading Edge Award goes to April Knox who did exactly that and so much more. As Vice President of NAPO-LA and owner of TrueOrganizing, April conceived, planned and produced NAPO-LA’s very successful GO (Get Organized) Month event with expert organizer Peter Walsh. “An Evening with Peter Walsh" took NAPO-LA and Los Angeles’ professional organizing industry to new heights with mainstream media coverage, increased public awareness and heightened social media engagement.

Raising the Bar Award

Jeremy Suede

The Raising the Bar Award recognizes an individual whose service to NAPO-LA went above and beyond the call of duty, and Jeremy Suede answered that call.  As Director of Communications & Technology of NAPO-LA and owner of Innovative Office Solutions, Jeremy has been instrumental in updating our website, streamlining integrations and managing the back-end framework while improving overall communication with our members. He anticipates issues before problems arise and has kept NAPO-LA operating smoothly and effectively.

Volunteer of the Year Award

Shara Kay

Honoring the member who demonstrates exemplary effort by contributing their time and hard work for the benefit of NAPO-LA, this year’s Volunteer of the Year Award goes to Shara Kay, a stellar example of selflessness. As Director of Business Partners for NAPO-LA and owner of SK Professional Organizing, Shara played an integral role in planning our successful GO Month event with Peter Walsh and stepped up to fill a Board position which she has already taken to new heights for our chapter.
