Marcy Melton, CPO®

Marcy Melton, CPO®is enjoying her 24th year as a Professional Organizer and was among the 2007 inaugural group of Certified Professional Organizers.   Her business, Bullseye Organizing Solutions, is based on the Westside of Los Angeles and specializes in Financial Organizing -- bookkeeping and tax preparation, filing systems, paper management, archiving, health insurance filing and medical payments, as well as time management.  The majority of her regular clients have been with her for two decades.

Originally from Albany, New York, Marcy had a career in Television Advertising Sales and Sales Management that spanned almost twenty years.  In addition to developing her people skills, she developed a reputation among her colleagues for developing filing systems that enabled her to access anything in seconds. She traces her organizing skills back to her being part Virgo and to having a grandfather who was the “original anal-retentive”.   “A place for everything and everything in its place” was the way he lived.

Marcy has been a member of NAPO since 1996 and enjoys improving her Professional Organizing knowledge and skills through local NAPO-LA meetings and has been to all but one of the NAPO National Conferences since 1998. An active member, Marcy was Hospitality Director for 1996-97 for NAPO-LA and joined the NAPO Board as Treasurer from 1997-1999.  She is a Golden Circle member and participates in her local chapter’s POLA Book Club.

Marcy is married to Frank, a Labor and Employment attorney, and is the mother to first year Cornell architecture student, Gabriella, and stepmother to Frank’s daughters, in their thirties. Outside of NAPO and her business, she is the Co-President of Sinai Temple’s Sisterhood, and a holds a Board position in the Pacific Southwest Region of the Women’s League of Conservative Judaism.
